Well it started in Chile, South America from calling home on Christmas when Adam told me that there was a sweet girl that worked with his wife Shauna and this sweet girls name was Misty. They told me they would hook me up with her on a date once I got home (which was still 4 months away!) So I didn't think much of it, but every once in a while they would mention that sweet girl named Misty in their letters. So I got home and it wasn't long for Adam to tell me to stop by and see Misty. So I went to her work the second day back and struggled for words to ask her out. Not so much that I was nervous, but I had just got back to America where we speak english! I had a hard time finding the words and she just smiled and was patient and I offered to give her my number for her to call me and then reolized that I was supposed to ask her for HER number and call her. I walked out of there thinking that I was such an idiot! But a very lucky idiot because I got here phone number! I was out of it, but to my greatest blessing she went out with me! I picked her up in my awesome station wagon my dad gave me to impress my date with, and we went to go and see the RM at the Reel Theater and ate dinner and then went up to my house to eat ice cream. It was the start of something amazing! And I love her so very very much.
We were sealed in the Idaho Falls Temple on a beautiful snow covered sunny day Feb. 21, 2004. She looked amazing! The most beautiful girl I've ever laid eyes on! I can't beleive it will be 5 years in a few more months. It's been wonderful!

I found Erics parents blog and stumbled across some old faces. Wow! It's been a long time old friend! Eric and I were friends way back before he went on his mission. Good to hear that Eric is happily married and lovin life. Happy Holidays!
